Turtle Divers

Turtle Divers is the SSI (Scuba Schools International) certified dive center of Turtle Dive Homestay and one of the most complete in Raja Ampat. Its system is connected directly to the international SSI system, so divers' certifications can be checked quickly before getting in the water.

Snorkeling

Snorkel from a Turtle Divers boat at spots around Kri, Mansuar, Arborek and Gam, from Yenbuba Jetty and Cape Kri to Manta Point near the Arborek manta cleaning station. Boats to the spots near Kri and Mansuar take up to 4 people, boats to Manta, Arborek and Gam up to 6.

Trips and island activities

Boat trips for up to 6 people go to Piaynemo, the Batanta area with snorkeling and a waterfall, or Kabuy Passage through Citrus Passage. Guests staying at Turtle Dive Homestay get a lunch box.

There is also bird watching on Gam Island, not including the entrance fee of IDR 250,000 per person, and 3 to 4 hours of fishing around Mansuar and Kri or further out.

Snorkeling and trips are per boat, diving and courses per person. A snorkeling guide is extra, charged by the operator at IDR 200,000 per trip.

Diving, trial sessions, and equipment

Local fun dives cover single dives, two morning dives, three dives a day, Manta, House Reef, and night dives. Manta needs at least 3 participants, night dives at least 2 divers. Unguided House Reef dives are for experienced divers, subject to equipment availability. Skill Update & Refresh and Try Dive for uncertified guests have a separate professional teaching fee.

Two excursion dives at Piaynemo, Yangefo, or P47 Wreck, Wai and Manta Way are priced per diver, excluding the boat. Yangefo and P47 require at least 3 divers. Excursion boats are charged separately for 5 divers and 1 snorkeler. The relevant excursion boats include the Piaynemo or Batanta waterfall entrance fee, lunch boxes are for homestay guests only.

Dive equipment is included except a dive computer and torch. The operator gives an IDR 100,000 own-gear discount per diver on local dives. Some distant local sites may add IDR 300,000–500,000 for fuel with fewer than 3 divers. The operator's private guide costs IDR 400,000 per day. Tank rental is IDR 150,000 per tank, only for homestay guests at House Reef. Confirm these charges before booking.

Kri Island View Point is free, about a 25-minute hike from the homestay.
