Raja Ampat Dive Trips Sauwandarek

Raja Ampat Dive Trips is based in Sawandarek village on the south coast of Mansuar Island. From here they take divers to local sites in the Dampier Strait, to the manta stations, and on excursions to Piaynemo, Yanggefo, and a plane wreck at Wai Island. A good choice for guests at homestays in and around Sawandarek that do not have their own dive center.

Local diving

Local dive sites are priced per dive. The farther local sites, namely Blue Magic, Sardine Reef, Mioskun, Friwen Wall, and Batu Lima, need at least 4 divers and 2 dives. With fewer than 4 divers there is an extra fuel charge.

Manta

The Manta Point trip has two morning dives, one at Manta Point and one at West Mansuar or Arborek. A single dive at Manta Sandy or Manta Ridge is also available.

Excursions

Yanggefo Bay (Citrus Mayhem), two morning dives, at least 4 divers.

Piaynemo, two morning dives plus the climb to the Piaynemo Geosite viewpoint. The boat is booked separately, priced per boat and shared by everyone on board, for 5 to 6 divers.

Santa Maria P47 Thunderbolt, a plane wreck at Wai Island, two morning dives combined with a dive around Wai Island.

Good to know

Prices are per diver, except the Piaynemo boat, which is per boat. Lunch is not included on the Yanggefo and Piaynemo trips. Ask your homestay to pack you a lunch box.
