Dragonet Divers Raja Ampat

Dragonet Divers Raja Ampat is an SSI (Scuba Schools International) certified dive center in the Nyande Papir area of Mansuar Island, in the middle of the Dampier Strait. They take divers to local sites around Mansuar, the manta stations, and on excursions to Piaynemo, Yangefo and Batanta.

Local diving

One dive, two morning dives, or three dives a day, with equipment and boat included but no dive computer. Blue Magic, Mioskun, Lao Lao, Batu Lima (5 Rocks) and Friwen Wall add a fuel charge of IDR 300,000 with fewer than 3 divers. Some other far local sites may add IDR 300,000–500,000 with fewer than 4 divers.

Manta and night dives

Two morning dives at the manta cleaning station (Manta Ridge or Manta Sandy) and Arborek with a coffee break at Arborek jetty, or a single manta dive, for at least 3 people. Night dives at Sawandarek or Ransiwor Island need at least 2 divers, at Sapokreng at least 3.

Excursions

Two dives at Piaynemo, Yangefo (Citrus and Mayhem), or the P47 wreck at Batanta and Manta Way. Yangefo and P47 need at least 3 divers. The boat is booked separately, per boat. The Piaynemo boat takes 6 divers, or 7–8 people with snorkelers, viewpoint entrance included. The Yangefo boat includes Kabuy Bay Passage and the bat cave, the Batanta boat the waterfall entrance, each for 5 divers.

Good to know

Try Dive for non-certified guests and Skill Update & Refresh are led by SSI instructors. Divers with their own complete gear get IDR 100,000 off per day, not per dive. A private guide is IDR 400,000 per day. Tank rental is IDR 150,000 per tank, only for Dragonet Divers guests diving their house reef. Bring your own mask, and diving insurance is recommended. For excursions, ask your homestay for a lunch box.
